    Special Recruit Practice

    Picture
The Miami Dragon Slayers is a team comprised of a diverse group of individuals who are a fun, hardworking group with a common goal of being the best it can be.  We work hard and play harder!   The professional coach team is able to provide one-on-one training in addition to group training opportunities.  The more practices you attend, the better you’ll be!  We are always looking for new members to come out, sweat and have fun with us.

(sometimes GPS takes you past our venue)
Follow these directions:
Take I-95 South to Key Biscayne exit.
Enter Key Biscayne through the Toll Booth
After going through the toll, you will drive exactly 2 miles
Stay in the left lane and take the 2nd left where the Marine Stadium is.
After turning left you will be looking directly at the marine Stadium.
Turn right and drive to the end of the park. You will see a yellow 2 story building.
Look for the sign that says Miami Dragon Slayers to your left and come on over.

You will see us on the other side of a fence by a blue and a green boat. If no boats are there, it means we are on the water practicing with our team, Please come on down to the beach area.

For Practice:
  • Wear clothes that can get wet.  The best materials are quick drying synthetics (DriFit or CoolMax).
  • Wear water shoes, sneakers, sandals w/grip: If you wear sneakers make sure it’s ok for them to get wet and have sand on them. Sandals should have some treading or grip on the bottom to avoid slippage.
  • Wearing a hat is highly recommended to keep you cool when exposed to the sun.
  • A pair of sunglasses will both help keep out the glare and protect your eyes from splashing water.  Do not wear expensive, fashion sunglasses or jewelry.
  • Bring 2 large bottles of water and sunscreen.
  • Click here to download forms, that must be filled and brought to practice
